Inktober 2022
I’m going off script and doing a different set of prompts this year. Because the rules are made up and the points don’t matter.
Day 3: Vessel. #inktober2021
Prismacolor Pemier markers and the vessel that holds good thoughts.
Day 2: Suit. #inktober2021
The one and only Lea Delaria
Day 1: Crystal #inktober2021
This was a tough start but loving it and listening to Brene Brown talk to Esther Perel on Unlocking Us.
Inktober 2021
It’s that time again! Welcome to Inktober 2021
Interesting turn of events:
It’s been a week since I’ve wrapped up Huevember, and I’m not loving that I don’t have a daily prompt, so I’m going to pick up with a December prompt already in progress. We’ll see how it goes!
Huevember Weeks 3-5
Well, Huevember’s officially over and I’ve been looking forward to sharing my thoughts on the whole process and how I approached it.
Posting many together = easier to see the shift in gradient
I mostly enjoyed my own limiting to compass/ruler/French rule for design structure, but by Day 20-something I was a bit weary
Prismacolor pencils are still a delight. I did use Primsacolor markers once, but it was less fan.
By the end, I was tired of yellows, so just made up the last few prompts on my own.
December I’m teaming up with Jenn to just Make Stuff. I love how much daily drawing has improved my state of mind in This Year Our Lord Dumpster Fire-2020. I plan on finding more art structure in the future and I’ll share the results here when I do.
Huevember Week 2
I need to be more patient and take my documentation photos in consistent light. But today is not that day.
Huevember 8 Days A Week
Welcome to November. Huevember. Last month was a word prompt and now I get a color prompt. I was still very much in Inktober mind-set when I started the new challenge, then remembered I could just do what I love to do and not fuss about representational anything. I absolutely love having the progress of a whole week to show at once since it’s edging through the spectrum, so unlike last month, I think I’ll on-purpose do a weekly update. If you prefer to see them as they come, I’m planning on posting on Insta, per usual.
